This is a novel. Or a blog. Depends on how you see it, I suppose. Do me the favour not to call it a blovel, though. I really don't like that word.

It takes root in classical fairytales and a few books I found inspiring. Most notably Dostoevsky's White Nights. I plan to publish the entire story on this blog (for free) as I am rewriting it, almost completely unedited. As I'm not a native English speaker, you should be ready to ignore horrible spelling and grammar. I'm very likely to use too many commas.

Please be aware that this is something I wrote for my own entertainment. If you are likely to take offence of the mention (though I don't plan on getting graphic) of verbal child abuse or a semi-arranged marriage (what are you doing reading fairytales anyway?), you might not want to continue.
